Making A Difference

Before we can determine whether we want to make a difference, we ought to know whether we are satisfied with the way things are now. About what are we concerned?

How can a nation ever hope to draw the hearts of people back to God if God’s people refuse to share His heart on practical life issues and to hold culture to account?

A popular, yet dangerous, myth maintains that God wants His people to be known by what they are for, not what they are against….

Having identified our primary concerns as being our nation’s failure to accomplish its divine purpose of drawing the hearts of people back to God and the silence of God’s people regarding moral matters in our culture, what is it we hope to change?

Our ability to think and to make decisions have been fundamentally corrupted. As much as we may want to believe that humanity is naturally inclined to choose what is right and true, reality paints a far bleaker picture….

While there is a place for politics in this conversation, we ought always to keep in mind that the political is merely symptomatic of our nation’s spiritual condition….
