Probably all of us would rather share an uplifting and inspirational message rather than something difficult for people to hear. What then should we do when God calls upon us to deliver a hard message?
As the founder of Forerunners of America, I’m frequently called upon to deliver such challenging messages. One of the most important principles I’ve learned to take to heart is simply that love warns. We don’t speak a hard message to people because we are upset or frustrated with them, but because we love them and want them to be part of the future that God has for us. Warning is an important part of love.
